We are giving the power back to teachers and schools
What is TeacherIn?
A breakthrough app in the education market
It's an app
TeacherIn is a breakthrough app in the education market that has had proven success in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. We launched in the UK in June 2016 and are excited to bring our highly successful product to you. TeacherIn already supports over 1,100 schools and 35,000 supply teachers, with those numbers growing every day.
For schools and supply teachers
The TeacherIn app directly connects schools with pre-vetted and available supply teachers ready to work. Schools can instantly see which teachers can work before booking them in seconds. For Teachers it’s simple too, they create a free profile with all their credentials, including video CVs, update their availability and then get booked and paid directly by the school. No agency commissions taken!
No agency fees or commissions
TeacherIn is NOT an agency or a service and is a 100% transparent organisation. TeacherIn is working with varying organisations at a local, county and national level to provide a solution to the problems the UK education system is facing. We also provide free CPD courses to all our registered teachers.
Cost-effective solution for schools
TeacherIn provides more control and choice for both schools and teachers, saving time and eliminating the agency fees saving school budgets millions of pounds yearly.
The story so far…
TeacherIn was born from the gross inefficiencies that founders, former teachers and Sydneysiders, Ben Grozier and Peter Carpenter, faced when getting calls from schools and recruitment agencies for contract work.
After having success in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, Ben and Peter identified that the UK was crying out for a change as well and so they built a team ready to take on the teaching agencies who have total control of supply staffing, costing schools millions of pounds in agency fees and drastically cutting supply teachers’ wages. TeacherIn in the UK is an obvious step as we move to change the supply teacher booking landscape and stop the agency rip off.
